This is a wonderful Victorian (Circa 1890) English Bee Hive Design Treen string box. It is in good condition with only a couple of very small chips which are totally outweighed by the beautiful charm and stunning patina on this piece. The Top screws off and the sting was dispenesed from the small aperture at the top and that way the nice Victorians did not have to see the ugly ball of string.
